"Please tell me her story has a happy ending, Majesty. I could use a happy ending right now."
"She was forcibly separated from a man who loved her more than she ever knew. She was ordered to marry another," he says. "But, her husband was a handsome and brave and powerful man. He, too, loved her more than she knew. You wear his ring."
Her eyes widen. "I look like the Duke's wife?" She asks, her off hand reflexively covering the ring. "That might explain why he wants to help me... But, I'm confused. Why do I look like her?"
"You look enough like her to be her daughter."
"I... I don't understand..." Bebe says, shaking her head reflexively and making a fist around the ring.
