OisenMouth is the southern boundary, shield, and gateway to the Duchy of Garnath. It is held as a fief of the Diaz family and Rodrigo Diaz is the current Count.

The Diaz family came to Amber late, in the last thousand years. Rodrigo's grandfather was granted a county in the southern extremes of coastal Amber for military service to the crown. Rod's father and mother died young, leaving Rod in possession of the family title, lands, and interests.

In addition to a seat in OisenMouth, the Diaz holdings include dockside offices, a townhome in the arts district, and other property in the city. They also have extensive holdings in several very distant shadows along the Golden Circle. Rodrigo is known to go there frequently.
