Months have passed since the events of Ill Met in Amber at AmberCon2006.

Duke Karm: Karm has not spoken of Corwin, Bleys, Eric, or the succession. His grandson and heir is being educated at the palace.

There was no Karm-Carlisle marriage. No Carlisle divorce came to pass. No Carlisle funeral came to pass. Eric is developing the reputation of a very practical, very brutal hardass. Some call him a tyrant.

The Watch is much more brutal and efficient. It is backed by the Weir. Joint operations between Watch, Weir, Rangers, and Marines are common.

There might have been an increase in the number Weir in Amber, but such is not noticable by the general public.

Arryl der Gottswache was wounded fighting a monster in the palace alongside Prince Eric.
