Elzith arrived in Amber as a stowaway on a merchant ship. She made good her escape from the ship at the docks, with hardly a scratch or a roar. Adept through experience at narrow escapes, Elzith blended in among the myriad of survivors in South Side. [Timing: Game Start]

Elzith is one of the few women ever to approach a member of Julianas Charities The Sewing Circle]] directly and immediately for help. Janet Lange took her in, and although Elzith's skill with a needle is only mediorce, Janet discovered she's served a lady in the past. Janet sent Elzith to Juliana Pinegar at the Carlisle Estates for an interview. Soon enough, she was the new Duchess's lady's maid.

Elzith is shy with people, but especially men, and is still learning Thari. She tends to interact with others in the household only in a professional manner, but the others have caught on that her relationship with the Duchess is just as personal as their own are. It's known among the academics that the Phillip Pinegar[Duke of Carlisle]] has had her attending tutoring at the University since their return to Amber City. Elzith usually keeps her hair covered in public, though she is more free within the Carlisle Manor.
